Supported devices — where to check compatibility

Edit

Use the supported gear list on rgbjunkie.com and the Devices panel after you plug in.

Is my gear supported?

We add USB and network devices over time. The live list lives here:

Supported gear

Use All devices for the full catalog, Validated for gear we have tested and confirmed working, or Experimental for early support that may need extra setup. Look for the green Validated or amber Experimental badge on individual cards too.

Worth a look before you buy — or when something doesn’t show up after Rescan.

What usually just works

  • USB controllers we ship plugins for
  • WLED on your LAN after you add the IP — WLED setup
  • RAM and graphics-card RGB built into the app on Windows — RAM and GPU lighting

Some gear still needs a layout from the RGB Wizard or Component Library before anything lights up. Detection ≠ instant rainbow.

Device missing from the tree?

  1. Plug in directly — skip the sketchy hub for the first test
  2. Rescan in the Devices panel
  3. Community plugin from Installed files if the supported list points at one
  4. Quit other RGB apps hogging the same controller

Still nothing? Troubleshooting — no lights and Send a support report.

Virtual / plugin devices

Plugins can add virtual rows — wallpaper capture, screen sync, that sort of thing. Treat them like hardware: assign components, pick an effect, save a Scene.
