SignalRGB plugin import
RGBJunkie can help you copy SignalRGB® device plugins into your user folder. This page explains what that means and how RGBJunkie relates to WhirlwindFX.

Your choice, your responsibility
RGBJunkie does not bundle SignalRGB’s device plugin catalog in the installer. If you want those plugins, you choose to import them — for example from:
- WhirlwindFX’s public signalrgb/signal-plugins GitLab repository
- A SignalRGB install already on your PC
- A Plugins folder you select (backup, Git checkout, etc.)
Copied files land under your RGBJunkie user plugins folder. They remain subject to SignalRGB’s terms and licensing. RGBJunkie does not grant any rights to those files.
What the copy tool does
The Install SignalRGB plugins option in RGBJunkie (first-run prompt or Settings → Installed → Plugins) is only a convenience: it copies .js plugin files from a source you pick into your user folder so RGBJunkie can load them. It does not install SignalRGB itself, does not modify WhirlwindFX’s software, and does not redistribute their catalog inside the RGBJunkie installer.
After copying, use Rescan hardware in the sidebar so your gear is detected.
Where to manage imports
- Settings → Installed → Plugins → Install SignalRGB plugins — run the copy tool again or pick a different source
- Remove SignalRGB plugins — delete previously imported catalog files from your user folder (your own add-ons stay)
